散骨について
先日、"散骨"のご依頼がございましたので、今回は"散骨"についてお話をさせていただきます。
散骨とは遺骨を粉末状にして海や山などにまく方式です。
「墓地、埋葬等に関する法律」略して墓埋法(ぼまいほう)などが前提としていないケースだけに合法ということになります。しかし、住民感情との関係で法制化すべきだとする意見も多くあるようです。
散骨を始めた「葬送の自由をすすめる会」はこれを「自由葬」と名づけました。
法律的に節度の内容は、
①原型をとどめないように粉砕する
②他人が嫌がらない場所にまく
③その他問題が生じないこと
というのが常識的な解釈です。
例えばですが、「釣りをしている方の近くで散骨をする」といったことは②に該当すると思います。やはり周囲の方に充分配慮した散骨のスタイルが望ましいかと思います。
